  1. Okay, I swear to you this video is unaltered and there is no SSD in this computer. Honest to goodness… I have never seen a Pentium III computer boot this fast. #oldcomputer #windowsme #pentiumiii #pentium3 #retrocomputer #crt

  2. I was feeling masochistic and wanted a Windows Me gaming PC. This Dimension 4100 (on the right) fit that aesthetic well. It has AGP 4x! Working on a loop as we speak. #retrocomputer #windowsme #crt #retrocomputing #vintagecomputer #2000snostalgia #90snostalgia #oldcomputer

  3. Hello #Fediverse, here's your "daily" OS-tan art and the first of my reworked daily OS-tan posts!

This one is of Windows Me-tan!

Also known as Emui, Me-tan is the original OS-tan from the Futaba Channel, depicting Windows Millennium Edition. With her green pigtails and clumsy demeanor, she has become one of the most beloved OS-tans.

Back in 2003, the anthropomorphic character craze was at its peak in Japan and the anonymous bulletin board community was heavily influenced by this trend. Me-tan was created in Futaba on August 6, 2003, though some believe she first appeared in July of the same year.

Portrayed as a clumsy yet cheerful maid, Me-tan is often depicted as a lovable “natural idiot” who humorously fails to defrag, puts fried noodles in the sink, and microwaves coke.

Art is by creator who goes under as ME-aki :P
