I was looking through my shots from the plane and found another keeper. This was shot 3 minutes later above western Azerbaijan.
I used #DxOPhotoLab9 to edit this, and its denoise worked like a charm. It certainly came out better than the #Lightroom edit of the same pic.
This was shot as a single frame, handheld for 2 seconds.
📍 37,009 ft over western Azerbaijan.

After spending many hours over weeks checking flight routes, moon phases, and the movement of the cosmos throughout the night, I worked out that around 00:00 GMT would be the best time for me to try and shoot the Milky Way from a flight I'd booked.
