Kann man offenbar mit einer Gruppenrichtlinie abschalten. Allerdings kann ich mir gut vorstellen, dass dadurch einige normale Gerätetreiber usw. dann nicht mehr wunschgemäß geladen werden. 🤷
Sorry, es gibt wirklich kaum noch Argumente für #Windows11 und immer mehr für einen Umstieg auf ein modernen #Linux-System.

I finally got on-device AI going, thanks to # Gemini.
It gave me exactly What to type into #CommandPrompt. I pasted & ran It & It succeeded.
I then tried to regenerate the table of contents for my book, the agent was just starting to run & the app crashed & I sent a report. All of this was done under #Windows11 with #JAWS2026. -

Even if am glad to avoid tools from M$, I am checking VS Code for development because IDEA tends to die two times a day on the Win 11 machine. In addition to that, IDEA meanwhile has an extreme annoying license checking paranoia.
It's idiotic to use Windows for serious development outside the MS ecosystem, but it's a given. Windows is not even second class there, it's third (behind Mac and Linux).

Like.. that's great, they give you the option to let it access your location (Yes) or not (No) but the only button you can click to move on, instead of being called "OK" as a normal OS would do, is called "Accept" 🤔

Durch welches Maß an Heimtücke kommt man eigentlich zu der Designentscheidung, einen Texteditor nach Bearbeitung einer Datei mit Alt-F4 schließen zu können, dabei keine Frage zum Speichern zu stellen, beim erneuten Öffnen (zur Kontrolle, um nachzusehen, ob die Datei wirklich ohne Rückfrage geschrieben wurde) den geänderten Zustand zu zeigen, die tatsächliche Datei aber in Wirklichkeit völlig unangetastet zu lassen, bis explizit gespeichert wurde?
