My visit to #FalkensteinCastle in the #HarzMountains wouldn't have been complete for me without having spotted a #kestrel or two. Not the best #photos I'm aware - #BirdPhotography is still something I need to practice.
#FunFact: Kestrels used to be called #Windfuckers for the exact thing the flying one did and without which I likely wouldn't have been able to even remotely get it in focus (I know it still isn't really in focus 😅): Place themselves against the wind stream in a way that they seem to hover over the terrain.
