Not sure about going with Sheehan this early for Dodgers. Glasnow only threw 38 pitches, and, even though he came in relief, this was his scheduled start day. And while he gave up a run in 6th, he didn't look so shaky that you couldn't count on him for one more inning. I mean, surely Glasnow is a more reliable arm than anybody in Dodger bullpen now, no?

I feel like a more capable defensive RF would've had a decent shot at catching that. But with Teoscar, it was a no-doubter.
Teo was a huge boost in 2024, an absolute feel-good story. This year he is a nightmare of a liability both offensively and defensively. I'm hoping for a redemption arc for him in this Game 7, but it's not looking likely. :blobugh:

I'm honestly okay with whatever outcome tomorrow brings.
If Dodgers win, obviously I'll be more than okay. But even if they lose, I'm well aware that this team with this underperforming offense has no right being in WS Game 7 in the first place, so I'll be okay.
That said, I'd love to see some serious slugfest pandemonium tomorrow, including redemption arcs for Teo et al.

Given the state of bullpen, I felt I'll be content if Dodgers can make NLCS. But the team actually made it to WS, so all this, even with all the disappointments, is just bonus.
What sucks is that, if Dodgers come up short, it won't be because of the terrible bullpen, but because of the disappearing bats.

Anybody who's been watching Dodgers this postseason knows that Dodgers' biggest weakness ain't the bullpen, but the frustratingly ineffective bats that generated only bare minimum of runs to win. Dodger bats ought to be capable of generating many, MANY more runs, but they're not getting it done. They had opportunities to blow the game wide open early, and managed only 2 runs.

But he was not the reason why Dodgers lost NLDS Game 3. Disappearing bats were.
No matter who was on Dodger mound, 2 dinky runs were never gonna cut it. And 1 run was a consolation gift by the Phillies who just wanted to be at their hotel sleeping.

Everybody expects Sasaki to turn the Dodger rotation into an invincible super-rotation next year.
I don't think that's where the expectation should be. I think it's appropriate to think of him more as an elite first-round draft pick, and less as an "immediate help" superstar.

- Everybody expects Roki Sasaki to sign with Dodgers. And so do I. On top of being a championship team and home to both Ohtani and Yamamoto, Dodgers have the best player development program in the world, and a proven track record of bringing the best out of pitchers. 3. The good thing for Dodgers is Roberts avoided using any of the high-leverage bullpen arms. (This is partly why I'm not too worried about Yankee bats "waking up.") Yankees on the other hand relied on their high leverage arms for two nights in a row. Dodgers are going to have a clear bullpen advantage going into Game 5.

1. Congrats to Volpe for being a WS hero for Yankees! I'll never say no to a 23-yo kid being a WS hero, no matter which team he plays for.

I tell myself that it's ok Dodgers are losing now b/c:
1. Dodger bats can flip a 2-run deficit quickly,
2. Even with a loss, Dodgers would still be up 3-1,
3. No team has ever come back from a 0-3 WS deficit,
and
