  1. @kdramarama Ep 4 for me too, and an emphatic "Hell yeah" to every one of your other points, most of which I actually said out loud to myself while watching.
Especially the last. She could do romance, just not a romcom. Something like the outstanding #cDrama #WillLoveInSpring, for example. Or try something like #GoodPartner or Lee Bo Young's #Agency

  2. Day 16: Best female actor of 2025. #EYDC2025

    #jDrama #cDrama #kDrama #twDrama

a clear winner here for me:
    Wan Peng

In #LovesAmbition and #DearEnemy she played two very different kind of supporting roles. Both w/ unusual features.
Her Dear Enemy character potentially an arch-enemy of the women she became BFF with, and in LovesAmbition, she was the HIGHLY favoured/ preferred sister who was utterly devoted to her neglected sibling. She nailed them both, as she did in #WillLoveInSpring

  3. In the #CDrama #WillLoveInSpring a central part of the FL's story was the fact that she'd had one leg amputated just below the knee when she was 12. The story dwelt a lot on how that motivated her to excel.

Clearly the writer of #KDrama #LiveYourOwnLife watched it, thought "hold my beer" and decided to write an entire Drama about an FL who became the best fitness trainer in Korea despite having been born without

    A SPINE

  4. The ruthless and literally remorseless rejection of emotion and sentiment in dealing with death is quite disturbing in #CDrama #WillLoveInSpring - the message that because death is inevitable people should just suck it up stop whining and above all not cry is unpalatable.

  5. When a very dear and close Korean friend was born, his Mum was shocked at his appearance & apparently said something like "this baby can't be mine, it's too dark". He has continued to suffer for that "sin" his entire life. The otherwise excellent #CDrama #WillLoveInSpring repeatedly pushes the same message very explicitly, with the FL scolding her little sister for not being fair enough and a TCM doctor telling the FL's BFF that "a fair complexion makes an ugly face pretty." No 10/10 for it

  6. Loving Wan Peng's BFF role in #CDrama #WillLoveInSpring - great seeing her grow up and into fully adult roles

  7. Into ep 7/21 of #CDrama #WillLoveInSpring and getting punched right in the feels. My dehumidifier will be working overtime coping with the way my eyes have sprung a leak

  8. #CDrama #WillLoveInSpring continues to delight - the ML's granny is a treasure, coming across like a mafiosa matchmaker. 😀

  9. Three episodes into
#CDrama #WillLoveInSpring and there's A LOT to like, including this actor and character, a near perfect C version of Kim Young Ok 😂

  10. The last #CDrama I finished had subs slightly on the poor side of mediocre. So kudos to the #WillLoveInSpring subbers for pulling this one off. Also, having had I can confirm that the answer is indeed 'no' (Actually exactly the sort of question that makes me wish English had an equivalent of the French "si")

  11. A swift recovery from #CDrama #WillLoveInSpring with this dry humour that made me laugh. The teacher talking to embalming students about how their profession is regarded😂

  12. #CDrama #WillLoveInSpring losing me a bit with a scene showing FL bright and chatty as she goes in for gall bladder removal. I had mine out after several hours of the most excruciating agony I've ever experienced, all of it AFTER two shots of morphine. I was told it's the closest a male can come to childbirth pain and one woman who's experienced both said that gallbladder was worse. So I doubt anyone would be sitting up on the gurney chatting and smiling

  13. I dropped/held #KDrama #BloodFree after learning the ending is dependent on an
    as yet unconfirmed S2.
Starting #CDrama #WillLoveInSpring - I've been waiting for thisfor over a year on the strength of Zhou Yu Tong awesome performance in #BeginAgain It doesn't hurt that she is 'really, really, really, ridiculously good-looking' & that ML Li Xian is VERY easy on the eyes too. It opens with a competition of a sort I have NEVER seen before, in 11 years & nearly 700 East Asian Dramas 😆

  14. Just finished “Will Love in Spring” 🌸 It was a beautifully realistic depiction of two traumatized people, trying to make a long-distance relationship work. The female lead was immature and selfish, though, and had to do some growing up before they could have a future together.

  15. Am halfway through “Will Love in Spring” 🌸 It is a healing drama with a very realistic twist and a good sense of humour. The female lead has her own life in Shanghai and the male lead has chosen to return to their hometown to work and take care of his grandmother. Their feelings are real and based on teenage feelings, but making a relationship work in adult life is tricky.

Great chemistry and acting that makes the dilemma feel real…

  16. After being indecisive for quite a while, I decided to watch “Will Love in Spring” with Li Xian and Zhou Yutong 🌸 It’s a healing drama where the leads return to their hometown from the big city to find a more quiet life. At the beginning of the second episode there is an exquisitely awful, bad blind date 😄
