    That is a fair statement, and I agree.

    To clarify, the #WillDurant quote was lifted from the second page of the first volume a whole set written in 1935 on story of civilization.

    In this context, #lithiculture definitely existed before #agriculture, but not to sustain an urban “city” or #civilization.

    Basically, lithicultures couldn’t gather enough calories to sustain a stationary urban existence.
