I had a wildlife-filled walk today! I came upon this two-year-old moose, snapped some photos and was going to proceed on by her when she started walking toward me slowly, ears still straight up. I turned around and started walking the other way and the moose followed me like she wanted to be friends. I was not at all afraid of being hurt because her manner was so calm, but I wanted her to stop following me. There was nothing near me to hide behind or dash into so I just turned around, faced her, held up my hand and very gently said "Please." She stopped and I kept walking while she stayed put. Also, I saw a gorgeous wild rabbit! #Alaska #AlaskaWildlife #Moosetodon #WildRabbit #WildlifeEncounter
