I went looking for the cougar yesterday and found tracks in the mud. I saw deer tracks too, they are the main food source for cougars at that location. The spring foliage provides good hiding for a predator and reduced visibility for a wildlife photographer so I was hypervigilant. I will return there very soon since I am on the right track.

I really like finding animal #TracksAndSigns when out in the field - here we have the footprints of an #impala (top) and #hyena (bottom) which visited the same site within a few hours while the ground was still wet after a heavy rain shower.
