We just enrolled 25 of our 27 acres in the Indiana Classified Forest and Wildlands Program. It's been "wild" for years, but it just became a much bigger advantage tax-wise. If we farmed the land -- and added lots of nutrients and sediment to the water supply -- taxes would stay low. 🤷‍♂️
