    Since there are no shorts or anything obvious I wonder if that chip might be the issue

  18. DDNSにしても自宅のIPアドレスの逆引きはプロバイダに固定されているから、メールサーバには使えない、か。う〜ん。
    というか、IPアドレスが変わったとき、もとのIPの先にメールサーバがたまたまあったら、そっちにメールが行ってしまうとか、起きる可能性があるし。
    今、sendmailを置いてる、逆引き設定が可能なVPS(Serversman
    @VPS)のCentOS7のEOLのあとは、どこのVPSにすればよいかな。Mailgunとかのメールサーバサービスを使うのがやっぱり良いのか?

    1) VPSx2(縮小)+BINDでDDNS -->
    自宅WiFiルータでport forwardで自宅サーバとそれ以外の機器、まぜこぜ
    2) 1)に加えて自宅サーバ以外はもう一段のルータで外部から遮断。
    3) 自宅サーバ自体をルータ的に使い、実質2)にする。
    4) VPSのnginxで振り分け、自宅サーバとの通信はSSHのトンネリング。自宅WiFiルータには外からの穴は開けない。DDNSにしない。

    いずれにしても今のWiFiルータは更新しないといけない。
    2)の守りは固い。4)はDDNSにしないのでシンプル。性能とか安定性がどうか。

    自宅サーバを将来設置することを考えると、どのようなものがよいのか? どのようなネットワーク構成にすればよいのか?
    DDNS的にするのか、そうではないのか?
    自宅サーバに重心を移して、表のVPSを縮小していけるのか?
    Serversman/VPSのCentOS7が来年(20240630)には更新終了すると思うのでその後釜はどうするか?
    などなど。
