#Obsidian #help please?

Seems difficult to implement a variable #table #column #width, eg. drag & drop variability, so far.

Have I missed any other easy ways to control table column widths?

It'd also be nice to be able to get tables to span the entire available window width, or percentages of it, if anyone knows the chops to do that?

@Mastodon Where can I post feature requests?

I feel like the most left column in advanced web interface is kinda wasted space. While I cannot change the columns' width I wish to use the most available space for content instead for white space.

Every click on a user name moves my columns left, to expand in the most right column outside my viewport. To post a toot I have to scroll back left to the first column. Kinda inconvenient.

PEP-8 still says 79 chars IIRC, but at this point that's honoured more in the breach than the observance.

With modern screens and editors, >80 isn't really a problem for most. Black defaults to 88; I happen to like 96. A company I work for has standardized on 120, which IMHO is too wide.

Pick something you like, configure black/your editor/etc to observe it, and be consistent, and you'll be fine.

We previously found in 1D simulations (blue) that the #positional #error of #Dpp increases as the pouch of the #Drosophila #wingdisc expands over time.

Now, with a #tissue #width of 10 cells, the positional error is substantially reduced and remains below 1 cell diameter (red)

@ResearchWhisperer That's about it. I don't think Mastodon has done anything *wrong* in their current definition of what constitutes a hashtag: in lots of situations, you probably want colon or hash to end a tag, as when you express a #height:#width ratio or #stack#multiple#tags. It's just that the way things are doesn't work for DOIs.
