It is not common to find the actual lace from a painting. I am, of course, delighted. They are in quite good shape too.

I was helping with a class in #DresdenLace this week, and I learned wonderful things. The students shared great books that I added to the #Wikipedia #whitework page.

Continuing to work on an article on #C18 women’s domestic #embroidery (and then some administrative writing) and to keep myself going and disciplined I am writing in pomodoro style chunks. My twist on this is do two with a microbreak and then have 10 minutes sewing and practicing pulled thread work.
