The new order seeks to *use* [twist] federal #CivilRights laws to force schools to come into compliance w/ #conservative views on both subjects.
Fed #law allows the #Education Dept to withhold funds from any school that #discriminates based on #race or #sex.… #Trump & allies argue lessons about #SystemicRacism amount to #discrimination, because they presume certain things about people based on race, such as that White Americans enjoy certain privileges based on their race.

The Biden admin encouraged schools in the opposite direction, promoting #diversity & #equity initiatives & directing schools to #respect #transgender students’ rights, but it NEVER tried to CONDITION federal FUNDING on what was taught in #classrooms. The #Education Dept during #Trump’s first term also did not try to #dictate #curriculum, w/then-Secretary Betsy DeVos arguing that the curriculum should be decided at the local level.

Kestävän kehityksen ja vihreän siirtymän kohdalla vaikuttaa melkein kuin jokin propagandatoimisto olisi vasiten miettinyt, miten termejä voi käyttää niitä keksineiden kiusaksi ja vastoin heidän tarkoituksiaan. "Vai haluatte vihreää siirtymää? No maistakaas tuosta, ja tuosta!" Ja 'kehitys' on muutenkin liikaa samastunut kulutukseen jonkin käsittämättömän talous-niskalenkin kautta. Viestinnän tutkijat hoi!
