Plants of #Peperomia belong to the pepper-related #Piperaceae. Here, P. #caperata is shown, a typical #succulent with fleshy, water-storing #leaves. In total, more than 1500 #species are known, distributed in #tropical/subtropical regions. E. Ji Shin et al. (2023) studied their #effects of different #whitelight color temperatures.

It was too late in the day for me to use the telescopes so I opted for this instead. Lots of #Sunspots visible at the moment #ActiveRegions #SolarAstrophotography

@RAHstory So I'm hanging out here with my new #Mastodon buds and here comes this beautiful #Painting . I pause to admire and am struck with an old old memory of being told how the little white circle is "how you can tell they're saints." My grandfather maybe.
But anyway I'm thinking about that, and ended up down a #rabbithole that included #reiki and #aliens, and how the symbolism is so intuitively understood. Put #WhiteLight around someone's head today, you're #NewAge - then, a genius. 😜
