In other news, I've confirmed DNA connections to my ancestors from the #WhiteCraneClan of the #Ojibwe / #Anishinaabe people. I'll be applying for #Metis membership because it does mean something to me. And I want to support the local Metis #PowWows and members of other tribes who have accepted me even before I confirmed my heritage.
