@Josiah_Mannion this feels a bit like the sentiment I heard around the time the Atheism+ movement started.

What I saw back then was that org immediately fractured with disagreement about what issues they should care about, and of course arguments with what I think you were alluding to as #WhiteBoyAtheism.

It turns out there seems to be way more "just atheists" with little or no interest in these other issues than there are people who care about them and are atheists.

It's always disheartening to see, "out in the wild," an #atheist still using the tired "#religion is a mental illness" line.
