@afewbugs I was a summer exchange student in DK in '82 and revisited in '93, plus spent a week in Sweden. They were both very different then to how they seem now.

And the blowback seems to me to have been led by wealthy white men who benefitted greatly from social democracy, then got their assets out of those countries ASAP to lower their taxes, but kept politically active trying to pull the ladder up after them.

A federal judge in Boston ruled for the third time on Friday that the #Trump admin’s plans to restrict #MailVoting are likely #illegal & it should be prevented from implementing them ahead of the #midterms.

Judge Indira Talwani had already temporarily blocked the #USPS from moving forward, in a ruling that was set to expire Sept 10. The new order extends that block indefinitely.
