Got us our first #WhisperTheWolf #Speedrun on my channel, in #SonicRoboBlast2! This is just an individual level run, this time, on Techno Hill Zone Act 1. But it was a fun run! I'm not quite proficient with this character, but I may play her more in the future. She's one of my favorite IDW Sonic originals.

Whisper and Tangle are released for Sonic Racing Crossworlds. ❤️
Sadly them not having voices, like all DLC characters, is really a pity, I'd love hearing Tangle's obvious enthusiasm.
OF COURSE there's already a voice mod on PC. 😁
I'm playing on PS5, though. I'll survive, but cry. 😅That said, it seems most people online are currently playing as one of them, I approve of that. 😁

Alright! Whisper's and Tangle voice actresses are lovely!
Whisper sounds nearly exactly as I expected/hoped for, Tangle's voice is, mhh, hard to say, different than I expected, but both of them are fitting and did a great job!
If you just want to listen to them, a fitting scene with both speaking is just before 11 minutes of the new podcast.
Warning: contains slight spoilers about Whisper's background story from the "Whisper & Tangle" comic issues, and, of course, the previous podcast episodes:

The Whisper and Tangle event will be running in Sonic Racing Crossworlds from 2026-02-25 to 2026-03-01.
On one hand that's good because it won't clash with my Furry convention visits. On the other hand, AiAi Event will be on Valentine's Day, and I was among the people who really hoped Whisper and Tangle would get the Valentine's treatment. 😅😭

I haven't listened to the "Sonic the Hedgehog Presents: The Chaotix Casefiles" podcast so far, I didn't even know of its existence as it's a bit hard for me to stay up-to-date with Sonic stuff without using Twitter, but well.
ANYWAY, it seems that Whisper and Tangle will be featured in the next episode (2025-02-10) which means they'll have official voice actors! ❤️
Let's hope that's true!

Sadly this image seems to only be available at Twitter, alternate Nitter link, I have no clue if image previews are generated for Nitter, though. 😭

Anyway! Whispangle!
I'd actually be curious to know who would dress how with those two getting married. I could very well also accept both of them not wearing dresses.
BUT dresses look nice, so, I'm satisfied either way! 😊

So, someone on Etsy is selling these Sonic character pins that sadly don't ship to Germany, otherwise I'd have to get Whisper and Tangle:
https://www.etsy.com/de-en/listing/4438268270/whisper-the-wolf-hard-enamel-pin-fan
But more importantly, I like how they said "best friend" in quotation marks. 😁

CW: IDW Sonic the Hedgehog Endless Summer oneshot (lesbian shipping <3)
I haven't read the "Endless Summer" issue yet, I'm still quite behind on the IDW stuff, but I was shown this page and, well, I appreciate that Jewel officially states that Whisper and Tangle know how to "have a good time". *giggles*
With the followed up "Nothing, it's nothing!" I can't see how this means anything else than differing degrees of making out. Okay, I could...but I don't want to! 😁#SonicTheHedgehog #WhisperTheWolf #TangleTheLemur #Whispangle

Tangle and Whisper are also in Sonic Rumble.
I don't play Sonic Rumble (yet) as I've been told it has a quite predatory microtransaction system, but hey, I'm happy about IDW Sonic characters being featured in more stuff!
Also, it's awesome they always come as a pair, as it should be! ❤️
