[P] Oh, there's a realisation I don't like. I hate it when I understand humanity more, it's never good. The drive to "cure" autism isn't to benefit autists, we always knew that. But what was it in aid of? Consider autism vis-a-vis capitalism. To a capitalist, autists have "wrong" brains. The goal is to reintroduce averageness. This was a dose of dystopian horror I didn't need. Ha, that'll keep me up at night.

First time out on the new-to-me #AcousticBike
It was left out on the street when a neighbour moved away. It needs some work (rear brake is, uh, nominal and frame has some surface rust) but only needed a tiny tune up to get rolling. It has a flip-flop hub, but I'm no fixie #hipsterrr
It rolls like a dream and wants to go no-hands forever. My old knees aren't wild about the lack of gears. Rim brakes aren't my fave, but they work. Too nice a day to grumble tho

We've had a lot of rain and even snow in the last 2 weeks so turnout has been limited. She's been extra difficult lately and needed a safe runaround indoors instead of a muddy paddock. She had a blast. ❤️ my mare.
