    You can detransition at any age, for any reason. Live if you can, thrive when you can.

    There are DIY guides and info in many places. I’m sure. Something something herbs for medicine idfk.

    There was that WW2 chick who came out at like 72 right?! Even if that story was apocryphal or I’m misremembering, the choice to be yourself is yours.

    Being yourself loudly gives the rest of us hope we can see our futures too.

    You don’t HAVE to do anything. Please survive whatever happens next — which I hope is nothing, but I expect is not. Obv I want the conservatives to be actually correct on this and their policies finally do Fix Everything, but I don’t expect so.

    But even though closeted means alive, and some people don’t have a choice right now, I hope you do have a choice as soon as possible.

    I don’t think ‘Queer Elder’ is something you can identify as.

    It’s a rank of respect you can only receive as a gift from someone else, as far as I’m concerned. I’m not doing this for that.
    (VagueBlogging a TE not RF who thinks existing hatefully is qualification enough.)

    I’m in a decent place personally — fucking finally!

    You deserve that too.

    Asexual, Aromantic, 2 Spirit, Intersex, Agender, Nonbinary, Trans, Lesbian, Gay, and / or Queer people older than I am: you matter.

    I can’t imagine how tough life’s been, will be, or feels right now for you. Different experiences and all.
