It tells a compelling story of a girl around your students' age pursing her destiny despite other people's prejudice. We were excited to spy Whale Rider on this Kanopy poster at #ALAAC24! We are big fans of the award-wining coming-of-age film about a Māori girl who challenges tradition to fulfill her destiny. Students love it!
