This weekend I read the #book 'The Money Trap' by Alok Sama, who was a banker involved in some of those huge #SoftBank investments a few years ago including #Yahoo!, #NVIDIA, #ARM, #Uber, the infamous #WeWork, etc.
It provides a well-written account about how the financial and investment elites operate.
Perhaps the main lesson learned for me is how some of these multi-billion deals are often based not on evidence and data, but personal beliefs and extremely weak forecasts.
Really interesting and enjoyable book, difficult to put down.
