#Mönchengladbach hat es geschafft, aus einem #Schandfleck zwei zu machen. Jetzt haben wir nicht nur Haus #Westland, sondern auch noch eine Straßenbrache davor.
Die Stadt sollte das Gelände übernehmen, das Dingen abreißen, und einen dicht bepflanzten Park daraus machen. Eine grüne Lunge im Herzen der Stadt, zum Ausgleich für den betonlastigen Busbahnhof mit viel zu wenig Grün. Und als Wiedergutmachung für den Glitzerasphalt am Sonnenhausplatz.

While at Julio's Liquors today for a Macallan Master Class and the Whiskey Roadshow, I picked up a couple of bottles that I'd been waiting on, the WhistlePig The Boss Hog XII and Westland Garryana 10th Edition, which is (coincidentally? Probably not) also their first 10 year old.

I cracked The Boss Hog XII tonight and it's not bad, but I was hoping for more of a cacao hit - I really didn't pick up on it. But it is certainly better than the hideous XI from last year. No one I've poured that for had liked it. It's awful.

The Westland mayoralty is close with the wonderful Jacquie Grant currently leading by only 64 votes. And how's this for a quote.
“I’ll be the oldest tranny mayor in the world.”
Back in the 90s, Jacquie ran a small zoo on the West Coast. She was so pissed off with Tuku Morgan's underpants scandal, that she named a little capuchin monkey 'Tuku'.
That really pissed Morgan off. And the publicity which resulted in all media was priceless.
We need more colourful mayors like Jacquie.
