So this is happening in our neighborhood, less than a mile from our house
(10 or 12 years ago many (all?) of the old cast iron gas mains in the area were replaced with modern high pressure lines, as the old ones were leaking and beyond repair)

About $50 a month for Internet and another $30 combined for Netflix and HBO max
I'm not counting prime video, which is bundled with Amazon prime. That costs another 130 or 40 a year, call it $12 a month.

I live in #WestHaven #Connecticut, home to an old Armstrong tire plant. It is currently zoned for mixed retail/residential use & is literally across the street from a #MetroNorth station, but it's been sitting empty for decades
It's heartbreaking, especially given the terribly low inventory of housing stock in this state. Lack of affordable housing is a real drag on our local economy

It became crystal clear last year that the developer would renig on their promises to the town
So, if not a mall on that site, then what?
Do you know any one that can use 10 or 12 acres of waterfront property, right off of I95 and about 3 miles from downtown #NewHaven ?

Pleased to see that demolition has restarted for the failed 'Haven' mall development in #WestHaven #Connecticut
Something needs to happen with that property and getting it cleared is the first step
I've heard that the CT #Audubon society is exploring putting the state HQ there
But that would fill only a small part of available land
So, what else?

The town is crying for new development. Just need to get some developers on board
