Western Union lanza USDPT en Solana para pagos globales

Western Union (NYSE: WU) anunció el lanzamiento de USDPT, su stablecoin de pago denominada en dólares estadounidenses, lo que marca un hito en la evolución de la compañía hacia una infraestructura financiera regulada y digital. Totalmente respaldada por dólares estadounidenses y emitida por Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., el primer banco cripto regulado a nivel federal en los Estados Unidos, y construida en Solana, USDPT está diseñada para operar dentro de sistemas de pago del mundo real, combinando la liquidación basada en blockchain con las capacidades de cumplimiento, riesgo y distribución global de Western Union (Fuente Western Union).
