Danzig watches over the ladies. This band is led by a stallion named Burn. Danzig, the gray stallion, is actually second in command. As lieutenant it is his job protect and keep the mares together. Burn is fending off an intruder. Wild horse society is endlessly fascinating.

Freckles is the dominant mare in Tango's small band in the south Onaqui herd. She leads the group back for a second visit to the waterhole before they head back to the mountains for the evening. Tango, in the middle, is already muddy from their first visit.
