I took this photo two years ago, on New Year's Eve 2020. It had been a rough year for many, and I hoped the new year would improve the covid situation. It wasn't to be, but on that day, I was hopeful. Despite living in our village for 20 years at that stage, this was my first time taking that footpath.

Still frosty here in West Berkshire. Didn't get as much time for walking today as work was busy, but I hadn't noticed this particular gravestone in St Mark's Churchyard before. It looked really interesting with the hard frost on it.
