As we celebrate 50 years of experimentalism at #Wesleyan, there is an aspect of nostalgia and all its attendant baggage, including hagiography.

Can nostalgia be productive or are we trapped in an ossified institutional radicalism?

Is this a product of the age of the nostalgist or the age of the anecdote? Gen Xers carried a wistfulness for Woodstock in our youth. Vaporwave is borne out of generationally displaced nostalgia.

Cage's anecdotes were also a nostalgia when he collected and wrote them.

So it went under when #Thiel shorted it and caused a run. #VCs #yuck Please regulate banks better. Also stop stock buybacks etc. Thanks.
