🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Deindustrialisation lead to massive job looses and loose of some identity, in a lot of Welsh towns like Caerphilly. Neoliberalism followed by Austerity, falling living standards and rising landlordism has since been hollowing out these towns. Listening to some of these reform votes I get the impression that they would be making Communist arguments and correctly blaming the bourgeoisie instead of migrants.
There are other Reform voters who are just racist or facebook-brain-broken like the reform campaigner interviewed earlier in this clip,, however there are reform voters who, perhaps, would be susceptible to a class analysis, if one was made to them. :marx: :gay_communism:
