Happy 20th Anniversary to We Love Katamari! 🎉 Did you know creator Keita Takahashi initially opposed making a sequel, believing it harmed creativity? He only directed it after Namco said they'd make it anyway! Good thing he did, we love it! 💖 #WeLoveKatamari #Katamari

I was wrong about that it's necessary to start over a new game to be able to collect the all of the "Na", "m", "co" and "R symbol in circle (Registerd Tradmark symbol)" characters in We ❤️ Katamari. I'm a bit disappointed that I only realized after starting it over from the very beginning that it could be collected later on anytime in my already existing game save.

For days Ina and out I suffered with getting afap (as many as possible) flowers 🌸🌹 for the Ikebana lady in We ♥️ Katamari. Just before I thought I should give up on having completed this stage after I stared all over this stage roughly a thousand times. I finally got 59 seconds and some milliseconds barely under 1 minute 🎊🎉.

Katamari Damacy Turns 20
Paste Magazine has a piece up on Namco's seminal Playstation 2 game Katamari Damacy turning 20. It's still one of those titles that has the power to attract attention when they see it played, especially if they've never heard of it before. In case you haven't heard of it (is that possible?)--you,

A day before yesterday I started playing We Love Katamari again because I want to attempt to 💯% it.
One of the collectible items the trademark symbol can only be collected in the beginning after a fresh new start immediately after saving in the first time then starting a new game. The "na", "m" and "co" symbols work the same way, I do it by using all the three save slots where I replicate my initially used save slot to the other two. -
Hey #gamer friends, my purge of weird stuff I've accumulated over the years continues! Current item is a rare #KatamariDamacy collectible, a little keychain fob figure of the Prince that was given away to reviewers of the game (one if my first professional reviews!). Well, turns out it's worth about $50 so I'm selling mine on eBay. If you're interested, it's here:

Could probably be convinced to do a deal with Fedi friends, so if you really want it, LMK.

I missed that the #remake of the very #videogame in the history of mankind #WeLoveKatamari was released everywhere and on everything. I can't wait to play with sticky ball on the #SteamDeck after I get paid.

Zelda, Diablo and Street Fighter are all the rage now, yes. But you should not forget the Remaster of #WeLoveKatamari. It's one of my favorite games and has a ton of good ideas to build upon an already great original concept. It's out now!

Well, this is exciting, #WeLoveKatamari remaster. Fucking amazing franchise, and it's good to see #KatamariDamacyReroll seems to have done well enough to get these games to come out again and have new content added.
Only complaint was the trailer narrator didn't really seem to gel with the game being shown. Especially the half-arsed excitement for the #RoyalReverie line. But the game itself looks ace.

i didn’t watch that whole nintendo direct as it aired in the night while i was dreaming of moving out & carrying all my belongings on a small boat (?), but what a pleasant feeling to wake up & learn that the game that touched my heart and transformed me into a game creator all those years ago is coming back to switch 🎊

Review: We Love Katamari (Playstation 2)
In this review, we find ourselves on a roll in the Playstation 2 game We Love Katamari. We find out how well this puzzle game plays.
This game was released in 2005. It is the sequel to the game Katamari Damaci which we reviewed quite a while ago. That game got a very impressive score here. N
