🟢 Food Sharers will have food saved from supermarkets. Take what you need and donations are always welcome.

We’re not a food bank, we are purely a food reuse project that is open to anyone, and something that works for all ‘Food Sharers’ in the town that mutually benefits all organisations; and of course, benefiting people and planet too.
"We share food on Tuesdays between 12:00 and 6:00 and Thursdays between 10:00 and 2:00, at our #EcoHub at #SwanspoolPavilion, with surplus food from Food Sharers, retailers and community friends. We have lots of fresh fruit and veg, bread and other treats plus, the kettle’s on too if you fancy a coffee or tea! Your donations will also be shared with sharers!
"Food Sharers is a sharing community, it will evolve into a #CommunityFridge and food reuse café and it will include a food buying club for people to buy food in bulk from wholesalers. #Wellingborough Eco Group and ‘Food Sharers’ are not, nor will ever be a food bank. 80 TREES PLANTED in Castlefields Tiny Forrest!
Massive thank you to everyone at today's FREE RANGE in Castlefields Park where we spent the morning planting trees and tidying up the Tiny Forrest!
The session was led by Sarah the Tree Ranger, who worked with the team from Grow Wild Outreach and Wellingborough Eco Group to plant 80 trees and to tidy up the area and trees around the park.

Good afternoon from our Community Allotment!
A lovely day at our Community Allotment, Eileen weeded, Jonathan planted lots of hawthorn bushes and after helping Jonathan, Ian tried to work out how to put a greenhouse up and found we need instructions!
It’s the busiest time of the year, so there's plenty more to do, do join our community also for more fixing, weeding and hopefully planting next Wednesday from 10am.

Another great day joined by Eileen, Ian, Ashok and Jonathan at this Wednesday's Working Party.
Eileen weeded, Jonathan planted fruit trees and Ashok and Ian built another raised bed and filled it with compost, then we went for a curry!

Twelve tree planting heroes out for our final tree planting session where we are planting up to 450 more trees, this time to make a hedge behind Swanspool Pavilion!
Come and plant a tree from 10am until 1pm or when we are done, with North Northamptonshire Council, they are a mixture of native hedge species.

For our final tree planting session of the year, we are planting lots more trees, this time behind Swanspool Pavilion! We will have tea and coffee available, plus hand washing facilities.
