Approval of #Democrats may be in the toilet at just 30%...
BUT THAT'S BECAUSE Democrats are frustrated their Party isn't doing MORE to stop #DictatorDon's violations of the #Constitution or reign in #Felon47's incessant criminal activity.
NOT because we don't approve of their policies. THAT is why Dems are winning big in races across the country.

One of the things I can't stand about #MtP #MeetThePress (even before #Welker) is that they are ALWAYS woefully unprepared when it comes to follow-up questions.There wasn't a SINGLE response from Blanche yesterday I couldn't have guessed in advance, and yet Welker provided little-to-no push-back.
He "pointed out" that in the "4 years of the #Biden Admin, they didn't release a single file"… playing up the "hoax" angle. But the fact is it was A SEALED OPEN CASE during that time.

#TraitorTom Cotton on #MtP noted one of the two survivors of the missile strike on a #Venezuelan #DrugBoat "took off his shirt... maybe to get a sun tan." 😵 😡Even #Welker was bothered by this absurd suggestion, and challenged him on the assumption.
Traitor Tom walked back the suggestion *slightly*, suggesting that "maybe they were trying to signal another [drug] boat in the area."
THERE. WERE. NO. OTHER. BOATS. IN. THE. AREA. (and even if there were, it's not a defense.)

#Welker on #MeetTheRepublicans yesterday asked Cory Booker if he's okay with #DEMOCRATS "shutting down the gov't" if there isn't a budget deal by the end of the month.
Booker had to point out the obvious:
"#Republicans control the WH & the Congress. If there's a #shutdown, it's on THEM."
They did this during the #Dubya Administration as well. "If Republicans #Shutdown the gov't, blame #Democrats." 🤦♂️

#Welker (of all people) on #MtP this morning DID point out (to Lankford who was defending #BrainWormBearDumper) that during his confirmation, he testified: "I'm not a scientist and will never try to dictate the science" (I forget his/her exact words.)Someone needs to play back that testimony to him. 🤬

#Welker (to her credit) asked him, "Are you saying ALL 35 Million are engaged in waste, fraud & abuse?"

SO… BY HIS OWN ADMISSION… he is cutting millions of people who AREN'T engaged in WF&B from Medicare. 🤔

Kudos to #Welker for actually pushing back that there's any difference under the #5A, but let Lankford get away with claiming:
"Simply reading the charges against a non-citizen counts as Due Process."
No it doesn't. And EVEN IF that were true, no one did EVEN THAT MUCH to those people T**** #deported to #ElSalvador.

#MeetTheRepublicans is nothing but #Welker's (disastrous) interview of #TheOrangeMenace where she let him lie repeatedly with minimal push back, and actually say #insane things like "military force to take #Canada is a possibility" & "all the good parts are from the #TrumpEconomy & all the bad parts are [from] the #BidenEconomy", while he accuses the Media of "hiding #Biden's mental decline for years."
The man is #MentallyIll and they treat him like he's rational. #EveryAccusationIsAConfession

Sec of State "Lit'l #Marco" went on #MeetTheRepublicans to defend #PutinsPoodle's handling of the #Ukraine War negotiations and whether #DJChump will now (re)impose #sanctions on #Russia.
#Rubio defended #TheOrangeMenace (natch), but Welker threw Marco's own words from 2022 in his face re: #Putin:

The interview of #DonTheCon on #MeetTheRepublicans was SO delusional & disconnected from reality, I could literally spend HOURS debunking it.
He STILL believes the 2020 Election was "stolen" and will continue to investigate it.
But when #Welker points out: "#Democrats did not control the WH in 2020. So why in 2024 with control of the WH and the entire gov't, did they not steal the election again?" (If you're wondering, his answer was his win was too big to steal. Actually 4th smallest ever.)

#Welker just now questioned if the #Harris campaign might be kicking themselves for not proposing full funding for #IVF (the way T**** just did).No. Not only is T****'s #FlipFlop on IVF not just crass #pandering, but he never explained how he'd pay for it.
But that never even crossed Welker's mind. She simply suggests T**** topped the #Harris Campaign. 🤦♂️
