She resigned because she *was* the disabilities shadow, and the party are trying to push through the welfare reforms before the investigation is going to be complete on the effects it'll have on the people affected.

A good analysis, but I must repeat some people who get PIP are in paid work. Cutting the support they need will drive many out of work because they won't be able to fund the adaptations they need.
