Young men and #bears were a dangerous combination in the Late #Weichselian western #Alps for which the Late #Palaeolithic Grotte du Bichon from appr. 14,000 years ago was a master example (Morel 1993, Archäologie der Schweiz 16, 110-117. https://share.google/tkLnhernhStkVr3an ). Now another example from c. 27,000 years Arene Candide is added by new #anthropological analyses:
