Nog wachten totdat ING-app niet meer nodig is en dan kan m'n Google account verwijderd worden. Benieuwd hoe dat gaat zijn.

Nice addition to their "totally about security and not about Android locking/Google forcing" tactics. Can go next in line with blocking external apps and the Play Integriti API.

Scholen zijn een maatschappelijk betaald goed om te leren en kinder op de toekomst voor te bereiden, niet om beïnvloedbare jeugd samen te hoarden om commerciële producten aan te promoten.
Dat iedereen standaard wordt verplicht tot en enkel wordt geleerd om Big Tech software te gebruiken is erg genoeg, maar om ze dan ook nog zonder enig educatief nut ads te laten kijken :blobfoxannoyed:...

Goedemorgen. Weer aan het werk, maar gelukkig thuis. Was wat later gisteravond. Heb mijn Nextcloud-instance verplaatst van mijn NAS naar een mini-pc. Maar de database en de bestanden blijven wel op mijn NAS. Voordeel is dat NAS niet meer open hoeft te staan naar buiten toe. Maar was even puzzelen. De Synology-apps kunnen van mijn Fairphone. ->

Zou er een baan zijn waarbij je de hele dag mag freubelen met ICT, oplossingen bedenkt die verschil maken? Les geven is gaaf, collega's top, maar het werk na schooltijd zuigt energie. Mijn brein draait constant: systemen bouwen, #FOSS implementeren, #SelfHosting perfectioneren. Samen met anderen oplossingen bedenken, hardware repareren, pragmatisch adviseren, uitleggen, begeleiden. Technische skills + didactische ervaring + onderwijsmensen, bestaat die combinatie? #ICT #Onderwijs #WegBijBigTech

It's been a while but the recording of the English version of my #LeavingBigTech talk at @tdose earlier this year is finally online!
It's my first time in English and I had to shorten it in 15 min. You can notice it I fear, at one point I even made a mistake mispronouncing VPN as VPS. I felt so dumb hearing that 😬. Oh dear... Well, gotta start somewhere, in general the story is there and knowledge is shared 😅.
