If there were closed captioning for my brain, I hope it would also say “quirkily dreary music plays” when I was not in active conversation with others just like #Wednesday #WednesdayOnNetflix

Finished up Wednesday this evening and painted my nails black :D

I enjoyed it. I'm not super familiar with the original canon of the characters, so for me it was mostly just a fun, dark, urban fantasy.

And ofc it was nice to paint my nails again after giving them a break. Trying to break the habit of getting acrylics for many reasons including 💸

They're short for me compared to acrylics, but the longest I've had my natural nails in a while!

@BethF I really enjoyed it as well. I think of it as a cross between Buffy and Harry Potter on crack. I preferred it to Stranger Things by far. My only issue is, it's so woke, I can't tell if they are making fun of wokeness. LOL @ #AbominableSnowman.

I’m watching Wednesday and I just finished episode four. It’s completely awesome! And her dance…crazy good. #WednesdayOnNetflix

Just watched the first two episodes of Wednesday and had a goofy smile plastered on my face the whole time.
I loved the original 1964 TV version as a kid (broadcast here in Sweden later, maybe mid 70s?), but haven't seen any of the other versions.

#WednesdayOnNetflix is an absolute treat.

Updated just enough for modern viewing without it verging into feeling the need to be dark and gritty.

Still retaining the zany charm of the original series, with just enough nods to the past to be clever, without feeling like they were shoehorned in. Loving it so far.

#LuisGuzmán and #CatherineZetaJones both badly acting on #WednesdayOnNetflix is painful to watch because I've seen them both do so much better.

This is a criticism beyond their lack of chemistry, which is the primary characteristic of this fictional couple.

Neither of them look right; their faces both look very off, unlike how I've seen them before.

Terrible casting, directing, and acting (makeup, too?).

Kudos to #JennaOrtega and #VictorDorobantu for saving this show.

I’m enjoying #WednesdayOnNetflix but it’s not nearly weird enough. No new character here will be remembered.

"But I admire the sadism." - the end of Wednesday Addams' opening line in #WednesdayOnNetflix

I think I'm going to like this show.

The first season of Wednesday (on Netflix now) was such a nice surprise. Classic Tim Burton vibe with a GREAT performance from Jenna Ortega and the supporting cast. It's one of my favorite new shows on Netflix.
