Growing up I heard so many people claim the sage advice of: "Don't talk about politics or religion so we can all get along."
Now those same people refuse to pay attention to the news because they fail to have an ability of response to it and instead bury their heads and emotions in things that just keep making them complicit in allowing the insanity to grow.
Learning to discuss and learn truths in healthy ways, as opposed to "argue" and "debate" points and opinions, is what should have been going on.
We must transcend the cults, culture, of society we were born into and become more clearly conscious and gain abilities of response, responsibilities, for ourselves and others.
