Alright. I went to one of the #SLC #WEConnect people and talked a bit with them. They swore up and down that they tried to get #UnionPacific on board with the plan, which... I kind of believe them, even if I'm still hideously disappointed with the end product of, uh... four vehicle crossings.

If they were honest and said, "this plan is what we can achieve solely with city funds and no state or railroad cooperation" I'd be less pissed

Like, the main problem blocking the #RioGrandePlan is just getting all the state agencies, #SLC, and the #freights in one room to hash out an agreement

Right now it feels like #SLC got a bunch of federal funds for #WEConnect only to throw their hands up and say "CAN WE FIX IT? NO IT'S FUCKED"

#WFRC at least understood the #RGP was worth a shot

So, I just checked out #SLC #WEConnect 's proposed #gradeseparation plan

If I'm counting right, there's only FIVE planned vehicle undercrossings??? The rest are all bike trails

Like this is OK for bikes and pedestrians, terrible if you want better transit.

But at the same time, we were told they didn't like the #RioGrandePlan because it doesn't address all the crossings they were concerned about.

I am struggling to see what they were talking about.

Der Mehrwert des zweiten Nutzers ist mir auch noch nicht klar. Ich kann das Auto nicht per App steuern, wenn meine Frau eingeloggt ist. Standheizung zum Beispiel kann ich dann nicht starten.

Wie machen das andere ID bzw. #VW Fahrer mit #WeConnect?

Vor vielen Jahren habe ich meine letzten #Passat zurückgegeben und weiß seit dem jeden Eigentümerwechsel.

Soviel zum #Datenschutz bei #Volkswagen. 🤷

Auch nett: die #volkswagen #weconnect App und Webseite funktionieren mal wieder sehr semi. Also eigentlich null. Über die API im #homeassistant sehe ich aber noch die Fahrzeug Funktionen. Nervt. Aber dank HA halb so schlimm.

Die Zuverlässigkeit der VW App #weconnect wird scheinbar auch durch /dev/urandom bestimmt. Ich will doch nur die verfickte Heizung programmieren.... 🙄🙄🙄 Ist ja nicht so, dass der Service nicht auch noch Geld pro Jahr kosten würde. Da kann man zumindest mal Leistung an fast allen Tagen der Woche erwarten und nicht nur der Hälfte. 🙄🙄🙄
