... is a #FOSS #OpenSource #SocialVR solution with distributed servers, in-world editing, avatar, 2D & 3D importer for Windows, Mac & Linux (Android?!?). Sounds complex, but remains simple for the VR traveler.

... ist eine #FOSS #OpenSource #SocialVR Lösung mit verteilten Servern, InWorld-Editing, Avatar-, 2D- & 3D Importer für Windows, Mac & Linux (Android?!?). Klingt Komplex, bleibt aber für den VRreisenden dann doch einfach.

It really works! Using #Glitch web-based in diving goggles, aka VR headset, #aframe learning.
I really like the concept of "custom tags" plus #Javascript, and fits into the #Angular, #VueJS, #React or even #PHP, #JSP, #CFML mindset.
The base is a <a-scene/> tag plus the inclusion of e.g. aframe.main.js and you can start cross-device through the wild #WebXR. Please fasten seat belt.

If you think #WebXR from #w3c makes sense next to #OpenXR from #KhronosGroup in the context of #XR #AR #VR then
is a must-have bookmark. I find the browser overview alone, which by the way can be maintained via github, worth its weight in gold.
Perhaps someone from the #Pico4-Devs can add the #PicoBrowser Capabilities.

A highlight of my year....100s of nights w < than 5 hours of sleep, managing 100s of speakers, content, chasing wobbly browser updates, maintaining morale w my amazing team in the face of uncertainty - & tho most people have no idea (yet) or care (yet) what #webxr #openweb #web3d is let alone sperical stereo ambisonic video content....we did it & our friends @ #ThePolys threw us support & we appreciated it + thanks for the booster shot @kentbye - was nice moment we shared on the old bird.

Any #Web3D people out there know of any functional X3D examples that work with WebXR? Most I've found are some old, very basic demos that still rely on WebVR APIs.
