A fellow #resistance activist over on Mastodon suggests we should get rolls of these and use paint or permanent markers to draw Hitler mustaches on them before spending them out into the market.
I like this idea a lot (I was just gonna put them in the bottom of urinals 😅) because it is financially neutral on the resister (we get a dollar of purchasing power for every dollar invested in the campaign) while leveraging THE POWER OF CAPITALISM ITSELF to inject a potent visual message into the financial bloodstream of the nation.
And every time a beleaguered patriot RECEIVED an altered coin, they would be reminded that they are not alone.

Given the Grateful Dead's current ubiquity, probably shouldn't be surprised, but was genuinely caught off guard by the dude playing Music Never Stopped on acoustic guitar in the subway station. I think that's a first for me.

A bright moment during a stressful healthcare appointment today.
The medical assistant came in to the exam room to set things up for my doc. She complimented my rainbow Keens, jewelry, and top with rainbow constellations & planets. I thanked her and said I felt like I needed to start off Pride month strongly.
She beamed and said she put up her new rainbow flag yesterday, “Happy Pride!”
She also didn’t insist on weighing me when she first checked me in! 🎉
