Nice summary of 15 fantastic books set in #Brisbane
I've been meaning to read Alli Sinclair's - The #Codebreakers for a while.
" (sic) one for the historical #fiction lovers, this time set in Brisbane during WWII, where a group of women form a close bond as codebreakers for Australia’s top-secret Central Bureau. According to the description, The Codebreakers is “a compelling story about tenacity and friendship”."

Got really distracted by these #YouTube videos that ask #drummers to hear a song once (without the drum track) and then play their own version! A lot nail it (exactly the same as the original), or their version is still stonkin' good! Active listening is key - some create the structure & form on paper first. Some ofc just mentally map the beats & kill it!

Blank Realm is a musical group from #Brisbane active since 2005. The group is composed of sibling members Daniel, Luke and Sarah Spencer (who are Australian born of Sri Lankan heritage) and guitarist Luke Walsh. They were described by the Guardian as having "a sound drawn from krautrock, New York’s no wave, New Zealand’s entire Flying Nun roster, and those closer to home, like the Go-Betweens".
