What is the goal that we as a society are trying to achieve?
Newly elected political parties spend most of their time undoing the last government's policies and programs regardless of whether they were an asset, liability or inconsequential to society. The rest of the time they're passing laws to enable their unethical actions, or to protect themselves from prosecution.
It's clear that our current approach to democracy is flawed. Regardless of who is elected, our governments are being manipulated by a small and divisive group of benefactors.
What if... we as a society defined the policies, programs and minimum standards for our country?
Then it would be the government's job to deliver on those requirements within that defined framework. -

This worn copy of the #BhagavadGita was first printed in 1944 and contains an excellent introduction by #AldousHuxley. Toward the end he states, "There will never be enduring peace…until human beings come to accept a philosophy of life more adequate to the cosmic and psychological facts than the insane idolatries of nationalism," and the #PerennialPhilosophy embodied in the Bhagavad-Gita is "the only road of escape from the self-imposed necessity of self-destruction." #WeAreAllOne #SpiritualBNR

Sea lions are like the spiritually younger brothers of dolphins, a dolphin telepathed to me.
Also told be they use sonar so can easily and quickly find fish in an area. Sometimes the dolphins feed the sea lions, and thus keep them as pets.
