I often praised Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez. The one thing I criticized her for was her stubbornly clinging to the ugly label of "Democratic Socialist." Many Democrats and Independents dislike that label. Now Trump is using this label against the Democratic Party. People like #AOC should have foreseen this and prepared a defense for the day that this would happen.

See Jonathan Haidt's work on this disturbing trend among teens.
