Where the hell were they "educated"? Do you need a degree to understand #neurotransmitters, #addiction vs #dependency, or #weaning? #Skepticism & inquiry are essential. But what sort of skepticism leads to such conclusions? Did they stop teaching how #science works?
How did these geniuses do more research than the domain experts? The millions of #doctors from our own families are all lying to us? The hubris in believing that only they're informed & honest!

The good news is that Bella has gone to the back paddock. She will now have some adult company and a bit of space.

3 years,4 months and 3 weeks of #breastfeeding is now Done, Finished and Complete.
I was ecstatically happy about that til I wrote those words. Whoa.
Been a trip. Lots of feelings, but i was ready about 6 months ago to finish. I'm still not 100% sure kiddo is ready, but she's had a pretty good run. I've given her as much as I could +now I'm gonna have to find other ways to fill her up with the love, comfort + peace she used to get directly from my body

it's a good thought!
ppl wanna think of themselves as good, decent people (not Putin or other psychopaths, but the 99%), and since they've done wrong (anyone has), that kind of cognitive concepts could just cut it.
it may be thought as sin,
or as a cannibal monster spirit Weetiko / Windigo,
or as a "mind virus",
or as an addiction, just like alcohol, drugs or other addiction,
these are at least the ones i've came by.

Been reading about the history of weaning babies on to solid food and it is a wild ride. Raw meat juices, narcotic drugs… and a 1953 guide suggests starting at 2/3 days old. Astonishing.
