For smoking hot weather, wearing comfortable means looser fit and extra accomodation for ventilation. My '93 501 jeans, with very light blue wash and two across-the-knee rips (I actually paid for those rips) fits the bill. This pair was part of the Levi's Pride collection for 2023.
