with the just released v1.3.0, there's (🙇 to https://github.com/QA-ler) now support for the devtools protocol in wdi5 (incl chromium and puppeteer)!

all that's needed is
services: ["ui5"]
in the config file (no browser driver ✂️)

I wanted to give #wdi5 a shot after i watched the great demo at #SAPTechEd The tooling looks great, and the chrome UI5 Journey plug in rocks, but how do i supply my credentials to the browser when using a live connection (basic auth) to a backend? Although i have stored the credentials in the browser they are not used when chrome is under remote control of wdi5. I am getting a timeout, because i am to slow to enter the credentials by hand

in the wake of #SAPTechEd, @_wdi5_ v1.0.0 is preparing to drop! 💣
this will be a huge release, with Authentication capabilities and #UI5 Managed Object API support coming in 🤙
