I’m not naïve, I know what the odds were.
I’m really heartbroken that Sadio Mane couldn’t join Senegal’s national team. African teams are so disadvantaged monetarily, and the pull to play for European teams instead is powerful.
I was in Paris in 2002, and that win against France was magical. Who wouldn’t want that feeling again?
