(Despite the title, the text implies they have to pause soon?)>> To maintain our meal numbers, and for all humanitarian organizations working in Gaza to continue their important work, a consistent flow of aid trucks must cross every day from Egypt into Gaza. Lately, that number has not been enough. While we are able to maintain our meal operations, we will not be able to do so indefinitely unless the flow is consistent and sustained. We are constructively working with all parties involved to solve this supply chain issue. WCK and all other humanitarian organizations, need immediate, regular humanitarian access so aid can flow safely and reliably from Egypt into Gaza. #WCK will maintain our feeding operations as long as we have the food required.

Charity launches new kitchen in starving northern Gaza
World Central Kitchen (WCK) has restarted food services in besieged northern Gaza and prepared more than 3,000 meals for hospitals and hungry Palestinians on its first day at its newest facility.
The new kitchen expands WCK’s capacity in the region with plans to scale up to 40,000 meals per day in the coming weeks.

After serving more than 130 million total meals and 26 million loaves of bread over the past 18 months, World Central Kitchen no longer has the supplies to cook meals or bake bread in #Gaza.
WCK trucks loaded with food and cooking fuel have been ready at the Gaza border since early March. Additional food and equipment are ready to be shipped to the border from Jordan and Egypt. Vital work cannot continue without permission from Israel for this aid to enter.

Australia calls for ‘full accountability’ on anniversary of #WCK killings
Today marks one year since Israel killed seven World Central Kitchen workers in Gaza, including six international employees.
“Ms Frankcom was driven by passion and a purpose. Aid workers like her, and the civilians they help, must always be protected. Gaza is the deadliest place to be an aid worker with almost 400 killed since Oct 7, 2023. We repeat our call on all parties to abide by international law.”
