We climbed up the Büelenhorn (2512m) and Büelenberg, a quite lonely mountain ridge above Davos.

David P. Shrag (Harvard University) says in his plenary sesssion that behavioural changes are unlikely to combat climate change, but we need technological changes. The largest behavioural change we experienced, the Covid-19 pandemic, caused only 5-6% of decrease in CO2 emissions.

• Live like the middle 40%,
• raise welfare in the bottom 50%,
• enable this by reducing impacts AND redistribution from the top 10%"He explicitly had a slide to redistribute ressources from the richest 10% to the poorest 50%

On my way to the World Biodiversity Forum in Davos. Bus was in time and the first of my six trains, as well. There would have been a quicker way, had the floods two weeks ago not damaged the track north of Lake Constance.
